The sweetheart in the red shawl

The work describes a story that took place in the 60s of the last century in the foothills of the Tien Shan, on the Dolan Pass on Kyrgyz soil. Having accidentally met on the way, the rural girl Asel and the driver Ilyas became the heroes of true love. Not receiving permission from her parents, Asel held Ilyas's skirt, despite the fact that he accompanied her.

But in a moment of distress, they lost the garden on which they landed, and each went his own way. Asel joined the oldest person, and Samat, remaining in the middle, became a father. Ilyas, realizing that although grief is burning in his heart, he cannot return to his former life, and begins a new life.

The play «The sweetheart in the red shawl» expresses gratitude to the ordered garden and encourages him not to get carried away with light fun. As the saying goes, «the gold that is priceless», a popular work, makes viewers think about assessing life.
