The ticket entitles you to a one-time visit to the Main Botanical Garden on any day. The ticket does not apply to professional photo and video sessions in the garden. 

The main botanical garden is open every day from 10:00 to 20:00.

In a walk between coconut palms, to see five-meter cacti and to enjoy the beauty of rare lily species, it is not necessary to go to distant exotic countries. Fantastic flora can be seen in Almaty - in the Main Botanical Garden.

Spreading out over a hundred hectares from Timiryazev Avenue to Al-Farabi, the Main Botanical Garden of the city is a green oasis among the stone jungle. It is no coincidence that this place is called the "lungs of the city". Here you will find a unique collection of flora from Kazakhstan, Russia, Crimea, and the Caucasus, North America and East Asia. For more than 80 years, Kazakhstan scientists have been collecting and adapting plants to local climatic conditions. More than seven hundred species of trees and over two and a half thousand herbaceous plants have taken root here. There are especially rare species here, which are on the verge of extinction in wildlife. The botanical garden pays special attention to relics, trying to increase their number. There are about 60 species of such lucky ones in the garden.

In spring, the botanical garden gives a great joy of blossoming, in summer it will hide in the shade of its linden and birch alleys, in autumn it will surprise with the brightness of colors and variety of shapes and colors of leaves, in winter it will give a real fairy tale with Christmas trees and squirrels.
