The protagonist of the play, Alyonushka, had many trials when she went in search of her kidnapped sister Nastenka. The way to Baba Yaga lies through dense forests and impassable swamps. Fate gave Alyonushka a faithful assistant houseboy Chur. For her brave heart and courage she will be rewarded with a meeting with her favourite sister.
