Baiterek Monument is a unique architectural structure, which is a national symbol and one of the main attractions of the capital of Kazakhstan - Nur-Sultan. For 17 years now Baiterek has been pleasing its visitors with the opportunity to see the most picturesque panoramic view of the capital. The origins of the idea of the monument go deep into antiquity. Baiterek is a material embodiment of the ancient nomads' ideas about the structure of the universe and symbolizes the Tree of Life that unites the three worlds - underground, earthly and heavenly.
The monument is a witness to the most important changes in the appearance of the left bank - the city was changing, new buildings were being constructed, the monument once located on the outskirts of the capital and the main boulevard of the Republic "Nurzhol", on which it is located, became the central part of the city. But one thing remained unchanged - Baiterek is still the most visited object in the capital today.
The structure of the monument with a height of 105 meters and weighing more than a thousand tons stands on 500 piles. Panoramic elevators, spacious light observation platforms, located on the upper level, offer a wonderful view of the capital from a bird's-eye view.
At an altitude of 97 meters, symbolizing the year of the proclamation of the new capital of the state, the composition "Ayala Alakan" with a right-hand print of the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The unique composition "Bata" with the inscription "May God bless Kazakhstan - the country of peace and harmony", under which in 2003 during the I Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions representatives of 17 confessions left their signatures as a sign of international recognition of Kazakhstan model of interethnic and interfaith tolerance, which is a national value and property of the people, is presented in the monument.
The Kazakhstanis identify Baiterek with a state that has preserved its historical roots and has a strong foundation and aspiration for the development of the nation, to a future of prosperity.
We will be glad to see you among our guests. We hope that your visit to the monument will leave a bright positive impression.
