The ancient holiday Korisu Ait, bequeathed to us by ancestors, has naturally become a part of our lives and is celebrated a week before Nauryz.

On this day (14 March), Kazakhs, who once led a nomadic lifestyle, would count their livestock, rejoice at the end of the winter cold, and always congratulate one another on the arrival of spring. According to tradition, the first visits were made to elderly relatives and respected elders of the clan, paying them respect.

Even today, on Korisu Ait, people exchange heartfelt handshakes and greetings with open palms: “Berekе men bіrlіktіn meiramy Korisu kuni kutty bolsyn! Bir zhastarynyzben!”

On this joyful holiday of greetings and embraces, the artists invite you to the concert “Arnau” at the Astana Opera House, featuring compositions by renowned contemporary Kazakhstani composers: B.Kydyrbek, S.Abdinnurov, M.Sutyushev, A. Abdinnurov, L.Zhumanova, A.Tani, A.Kadyrov, N.Tanatar, A.Zhaiym, A. Sagimbayev, , K.Izmailova and others.

Tickets purchased at the Astana Opera are exchangeable and refundable only in cases of cancelled or postponed performances. In all other cases, no refunds and exchanges are possible.
