One Apple Tree
Description
Orazbekov’s One Apple Tree is a psychological drama that returns to the fundamental duty every person has to their birthplace and the home they grew up in, prompting deep reflections. The contrasting lives of a mother who remains in the village with her disabled child and her children who live in the city disturb the soul and fill the heart with sorrow. The essence of this psychological drama reveals to every viewer that, alongside the love for one’s homeland and country, there is also an inescapable duty to one's family and parents.
This play is the very essence of life! Despite the many challenges life throws at us, it reminds us that every conscious individual must remember their role within both society and their family. The unvarnished truth of today’s society is the discord between family members. The inability of people, who once shared a home, to live together under the same roof is a profound tragedy.
