Chamber Music from the Silver Age to the Present

Concerts by the State Trio of the Republic of Kazakhstan FORTE-TRIO, at the Chamber Hall of the Astana Opera have long been recognized and loved by classical music enthusiasts.

The repertoire of FORTE-TRIO is striking in its diversity: from the exquisite music of the Baroque era to modern compositions, from classical masterpieces to jazz. This allows the ensemble to attract a wide audience, revealing new facets of musical art to listeners.

In the spring season, FORTE-TRIO dedicates its performance to the works of the great Russian composers: Sergei Rachmaninoff, Anton Arensky and Dmitri Shostakovich. These names symbolise the pinnacle of Russian classical music, and their works are true masterpieces technically challenging and deeply emotional.

Sergei Rachmaninoff a composer whose music is distinguished by romantic passion, lyricism and virtuosity. His chamber compositions are always a highlight of concert programmes.

Anton Arensky a master of chamber music, combining elegance and melody with deep drama.

Dmitri Shostakovich one of the most significant composers of the 20th century, whose music reflects complex historical and personal experiences, yet remains profoundly human.

FORTE-TRIO continues to inspire audiences and introduce them to the treasures of world musical culture. This concert is another step toward making classical music more accessible and understandable to everyone.
