(A Creative Evening of Madina Unerbayeva, Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan and Leading Ballet Soloist)

On 23 May, the Main Hall of the theatre will host a Creative Evening featuring Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Madina Unerbayeva, leading ballet soloist of the Astana Opera House and guest soloist of the Opéra National de Bordeaux (France).

During the evening, Madina Unerbayeva will appear on stage as some of her most iconic heroines Kitri and Aurora, and will also delight her fans with new works, including excerpts from Carmen by Roland Petit, Souvenir de Danse by Valentino Zucchetti, and the premiere of a new choreographic piece titled Kemel Adam, specially staged for this event by Sultanbek Gumar.

Madina Unerbayeva is a winner of international competitions, including the Rome Prize in Italy, Grand Prix winner of the International Ballet Competition “Baiterek”, recipient of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Foundation Award, and winner of the 2018 Sakhnager National Theatre Award in the category Best Ballet Dancer. She is a recipient of the Orders “Kurmet” and “Parasat”.

Madina Unerbayeva has successfully performed leading roles in nearly all ballet productions in the theatre’s repertoire.

Tickets purchased at the Astana Opera are exchangeable and refundable only in cases of cancelled or postponed performances. In all other cases, no refunds and exchanges are possible.
