Among the numerous festive events, a symphonic concert featuring composer and pianist Steve Barakatt will be a highlight of the March programme at the Main Hall of the Astana Opera House.
Steve Barakatt is a renowned Canadian pianist, composer and producer of Lebanese origin, whose music blends elements of classical and jazz styles. He is known for his orchestral arrangements and collaborations with ensembles worldwide, including the Yaroslavl Symphony Orchestra (Russia), Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra (Japan), and symphony orchestras in Canada, South Korea and France.
Steve Barakatt performs on prestigious stages, tours extensively and continues to create music.
The evening’s programme will feature compositions by Steve Barakatt, performed by the Astana Opera Symphony Orchestra and Children’s Choir.
