György ORAVECZ is a Hungarian pianist renowned in the music world as a unique interpreter and passionate advocate of his great compatriot, composer Franz Liszt.

Oravecz actively performs in concerts worldwide as a soloist, with appearances in Italy, Canada, the USA, Brazil, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Croatia, Yugoslavia, Germany, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and more.

His performances have been broadcast by various radio and television stations, including MTV, French, Italian and Brazilian television, Hungarian Radio, and Italy’s RAI Radio. He was the first to release a recording of Franz Liszt’s Totentanz on audio disc.

The concert programme will feature works by the classic Hungarian composer Franz Liszt and other European composers.

Tickets purchased at the Astana Opera are exchangeable and refundable only in cases of cancelled or postponed performances. In all other cases, no refunds and exchanges are possible.
