The independents

The documentary drama «The Independents», directed by young director Oleg Fedorenko, tells the story of our contemporaries who, for one reason or another, have fallen into addiction. Six bitter stories of self-destruction, cruel falls to the very bottom, desperate attempts to get out of the hell in which each of the characters fell, thanks to the irresistible destructive desire to forget and escape from the surrounding reality.

Sincere confessional dialogue with the viewer, sometimes frightening in its frankness and shocking details makes you think about your own life, raises acute issues of family relationships, spiritual values and morality.

Based on real events. All characters and the place of action are fictional.
