MASTERPIECES OF SYMPHONIC MUSIC IN PAVLODAR

On 1 March 2025, at 17.00 the Symphony Orchestra of the State Academic Philharmonic named after E. Rakhmadiev will present a concert programme of masterpieces of symphonic music on the stage of Pavlodar Regional Philharmonic named after I. Baizakov.

The Symphony Orchestra of the State Academic Philharmonic named after E. Rakhmadiev continues the series of concerts from the cycle «We are 25».

Artistic director and founder of the ensemble is People's Artist of Kazakhstan Abzal Mukhitdin.

The chief conductor is Kalkaman Dyusembayev, the winner of the State Youth Award «Daryn».

The conductor of the musical evening will be Arman Zhayyim, holder of the order «Kurmet», member of the Union of Composers of Kazakhstan.

The programme of the concert includes music of foreign and Kazakh composers of different epochs.

This year is the 340th anniversary of the birth of the great German Baroque composer Johann Sebastian Bach. His work will be presented by one of the most beautiful violin concertos Violin Concerto in A minor, 1st movement, soloist Mәdeniyet salasynyң үzdіrі Saltanat Orynbayeva, a popular work in classical music «Menuet» and «Joke» from Suite No. 2, where the solo on the flute will be performed by the laureate of national and international competitions Zhamilya Dalisheva.

The evening will also feature music by composers of the Classical era. In the famous Overture to the opera «The Marriage of Figaro» and in the work «Hallelujah» for soprano and orchestra by W.A. Mozart soloist Firuza Rakhmetova, winner of national and international competitions.

The Pavlodar audience will hear Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 and the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg's suite in the old style «From the Times of Holberg».

The extensive programme will be rounded off with a work by composer and orchestra conductor Arman Zhayım entitled «Hunting». The work was written especially for the string orchestra.

To the 100th anniversary of the composer and conductor, Honoured Art Worker of the Kazakh SSR, People's Artist and winner of the State Prize of the Soviet Union, Halyk Kaharman Nurgisa Tlendiev will perform one of the lyrical songs «Ak shagala», soloist - Firuza Rakhmetova.
