Funny money

The Gorky Theatre presents to the residents of the capital the comedy ‘Funny Money’ based on the play by Ray Cooney, a recognised master of the comedy genre, whose plays have been compared to Charlie Chaplin's films by virtue of the masterfully written plot created literally out of nowhere. An unremarkable English clerk on his birthday, expecting nothing special, brings home someone else's briefcase, stuffed to the brim with money. Realising that he has made a mistake, for which he faces imminent retribution, he plans to immediately go on the run. But it was not to be: at home, his wife is waiting for guests, police inspectors came like snow on his head, followed by his friends....
