Bekzat Rakymov

THE CONCERT IS HELD IN KAZAKH AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES

As part of the International Music Festival “Operalia”, a young but already well-known Kazakhstani pianist, winner of numerous international competitions Bekzat Rakymov will perform at the Astana Opera House.

The musician graduated from the A. Zhubanov Republican Kazakh Specialised Music School for Gifted Children (class of G.K. Kazybekova) and the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music (class of D.V. Rysina, 2024).

The capital audience remembers Bekzat Rakymov’s triumphant performance at the Astana Piano Passion International Competition, where he won the Second Prize. The musician has received prestigious awards (Grand Prix and first prizes) from international competitions in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Montreux, Kiev and others.

The pianist has toured in Hamburg, Munich, Vienna, Milan, Venice, Paris, as well as in cities in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.

Bekzat Rakymov has given recitals at the Astana Opera House, the Zhambyl Kazakh State Philharmonic in Almaty, concert halls in Milan, the Grand Hall of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, and at the Moscow International House of Music. He has performed with the State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia under the baton of V. Spivakov, and the chamber orchestras “Camerata” and “Young Talents,” among others.

In April of this year, he performed Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Governor’s Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Principal Conductor Eduard Diadiura in Ulyanovsk.
