Ballet «Giselle» in Ust-Kamenogorsk

«Giselle» is a performance that has become a symbol of the romantic ballet of the XIX century, which has not lost its charm over the years. Young Giselle learns of her lover's betrayal, loses her mind from grief and dies. She becomes one of the vilis of brides who die before the wedding. At midnight, the vilis come to the human world, and a man who happens to be around at a late hour falls victim to them, and the ghosts force him to dance until he dies.

It is a touching and beautiful love story of a girl who can forgive and protect even after death; the incredible beauty of Adan's tender and tragic music, fantastic corps de ballet scenes, airy and colourful costumes will amaze any spectator and will remain in the memory forever.
